Bridgestone has developed a unique and fast system to check tire pressure, especially for buses and trucks. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System consists of a gate where vehicles easily can drive through, while the specially designed tire valves transmit the tire pressure directly to a receiver. This receiver is in turn connected to a PC, laptop or iPhone of the fleet manager. The included software charts all data clearly and sends an alert when the tire pressure is too low.
Bridgestone used the strength of event marketing and decided to launch the brand new TPMS on eSafety Challenge 2011 in Vienna (Austria), an annual event for the top of the industry where advanced security technology in the automotive sector is put in the spotlight. Live demonstrations with a real bus showed the immediate benefits of the system.
Comith created a full communication package and took care of the event marketing on site. We devised a simple concept image of a climbing and declining road, that shows the 3 benefits of TPMS: improved safety, fuel economy, longer tire life.

A clear system visual in 3D conceived the whole story concisely. With both basic elements we created and produced a comprehensive brochure, trade show booth panels, product leaflets...

In addition, we arranged the hotel reservations for guests, the transfers from the airport to the event location, in short, event marketing from A to Z. By the way: TPMS was well received and gained international media attention.
